Private Pay and Superbills

Why private pay?
 

  1. No doctor referral required (unless ​insurance reimbursement is desired)

  2. Ensures therapy can begin right away (no ​pre-authorization required resulting in little ​to no wait time to begin services)

  3. Services are based on child/family’s needs ​(not dictated by insurance regulations)

  4. Number of sessions is not determined by an ​outside organization (insurance company)

  5. Collaboration with a client’s school-based ​Speech Language Pathologist, ​specialist/other professionals, and family ​members can easily occur.

What is a superbill?
​

A superbill is a detailed medical receipt ​that can be sent to your insurance ​provider. Parents/guardians may be ​able to receive reimbursement from ​their insurance, as we are considered ​an out-of-network provider, with the ​use of superbills. Superbills are ​provided once per month per request. ​Check with your insurance provider for ​eligibility. Medicaid does not accept superbills.
